These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QuietFaith mobile application (the "App") provided by OB Soft Solutions ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
All activities that occur under your account.
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Subscription & Payments

3.1 Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period (currently 3 days) for new subscribers. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate.

3.2 Subscription Plans

QuietFaith offers the following subscription plans:

Monthly: £2.99 per month
Yearly: £19.99 per year

Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase. Prices are subject to change, but any change will not affect active subscriptions until renewal.

3.3 Billing & Renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription management settings:

iOS: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → QuietFaith
Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → QuietFaith

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until that date. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.

3.5 Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

4. Use of the App

4.1 Permitted Use

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the App.
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content.
Use the App for any illegal, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App's systems, servers, or databases.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the App.
Redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit AI-generated stories outside the App.

5. AI-Generated Content

5.1 Nature of Content

Devotionals and personalised stories are generated by artificial intelligence (OpenAI GPT). The content is intended for reflection, relaxation, and personal use. Generated content may vary each time.

5.2 No Medical Advice

AI-generated devotionals, stories, and all other App content are not medical advice. QuietFaith is a wellness and devotional tool, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. If you have a health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

5.3 Content Ownership

AI-generated devotionals and stories are created for your personal use within the App. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit these items outside the App.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to audio files, sound designs, visual designs, icons, logos, text, and software code — is the property of OB Soft Solutions or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements without prior written permission.

7. Health & Wellness Disclaimer

QuietFaith is designed to promote relaxation, reflection, and better sleep habits. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Do not use the App while driving, operating machinery, or in any situation where falling asleep could be dangerous.
The Personalised Devotional Mode provides suggestions based on contextual data (weather, activity, time) but is not a medical recommendation.
Integration with Apple Health or Health Connect is for informational purposes only and does not constitute health monitoring.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Availability & Updates

We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the App at any time without prior notice.
We recommend keeping the App updated to the latest version for the best experience and security.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
In no event shall OB Soft Solutions, its directors, employees, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the App.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OB Soft Solutions and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or to us.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights granted by the laws of your country of residence.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and OB Soft Solutions regarding your use of the App, superseding any prior agreements.
